Perestroika Promotion

Since the 70s the Cuban regime promoted professional exchange and culture with its Soviet partners. This meant the arrival of hundreds of Cuban students to the former Soviet Union and Russian technicians and experts to Cuba. Our story focuses on telling first-person through 2 friends and 2 friends how they lived the period between 1989-1991, when Gorvachev promoted the so-called "Perestroika", an opening movement that would ultimately mean the end of communism
